FIRE sauce

This girl has not eaten Taco Bell in years but tonight...I broke.
Having lived in Texas yeehaw y'all! for 20 years my love for Mexican food is unmatched.
There are no good Mexican restaurants here that we know of so...TBell here we come!
I looked around for that little "yo quiero" Chihuahua but didn't see him anywhere...
scarey thought huh...that meat did taste a little chewy...

Tonight Dad taught me the correct way to eat soft tacos

BEFORE
you must line up your FIRE sauce packets in two neat rows

use one packet for each couple of bites

AFTER
when finished, lean back in your seat and let the HEAT  roll off your tongue
kinda reminds me of a fire-breathing dragon!

Sheesh!
Lesson Learned
I really need some Jalisco from El Charro at home!
 Yumalicious!

My Aunt Juanita and Uncle George from Nashville stopped by for a visit today.

I hadn't seen them in 3 years so we had a lot of catching up to do in a short time.
Uncle George, Aunt Juanita, Mom, Dad

We could sit for hours telling stories and reminiscing about reunions, kids, grandkids, Christmas time, and my Aunt Thelma's COCONUT CAKE!
You talk about YUMALICIOUS, that that stuff could put a smile on anyones' face!

Robert begins working in Sioux City, Iowa tomorrow.
He's anxious for us to purchase our fifth wheel so he won't have to live in a hotel while working...I believe he just wants home-cooked meals and someone to snuggle with! So do I...

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word. Psalm 119:114 NIV
Blessings Y'all!

Liked the instructions on how to use the taco "hot" sauce. Bruce eats everything that way...toast and jam, honey and biscuits. :(

Nice family pics today!

We love Mexican food!!! We frequent a place here called San Marcos. They have folks traveling many miles to Pine Mountain for Mexican food. You just can't get good Mexican just anywhere.
Thanks for the lesson on that hot sauce. I bet that was one great taco!!

Hopefully you will have the fifth wheel very soon!!

I get it..Y'all were circus "fire eaters" in a former life...Girl...I would have to have some serious ice cream immediately afterward..And in my morning "constitutional" ,I would be screaming "Come On Ice Cream!!!!"

Gosh Dennis and Donna, now the secret is out! As for the ice cream, doesn't it sooth just about everything...anywhere...anytime? Thanks for commenting.

Girl...you're speaking my lingo when you're talking mexican food. Although technically I'm not sure Texans would consider Taco Bell mexican food! ha I ate there plenty when I lived in FW...but I miss my Taco Bueno! I was so excited when I moved back to Springfield and saw they had Taco Bueno's...and then they closed them!! What is with that??? Safe travels! Looking forward to keeping up with you two thru your blog!

I think Texas spoiled both of us huh and yes, that's a bummer about the Bueno. Guess we'll just have to settle for Mexican Villa!
Thanks for stoppin' by!
