Seriously?
We’re taking a ginormous camper and that big-o long truck on Highway 1?
You know, that two-lane highway skinnier than Twiggy remember her? with switchbacks tighter than a…drum. Yes, you can look straight down those cliffs into the jagged rocks and ocean below….
Am I ready to meet my Maker?
Yes, but I’d like to survive this so I can do some more stuff like Ped-Egg my heels and learn to dance the can-can ~ We even consulted with our campground neighbors, Hal and Vickie from Cloverdale in Sonoma County, a delightful couple who gave us a recommendation for a campground in Bodega Bay, IN CASE WE MADE IT!
NOT the White Cliffs of Dover~

The hunk-o-love I’m married to, otherwise known as “the greatest driver EVER” had no problemos!
We got some good pics and great video.
for when we’re old and can’t remember
We made it!
just in time to get the camper set up and head to Bodega Head for a spectacular sunset.
Migratory whales are spotted in this area January – April.
Topping off the night: Fish Tacos and Flash Fried Dungeness Crab at Rocker Oysterfellers
Today was amazing! We saw everything from deer in the woods to powerful ocean waves.
Thanks, God~

Excellent pictures!
Loved that drive...and fabulous photos!
I'll have some of that crab...Jerry will take the fish tacos. They just don't sit right with me, biting into a taco and always expecting beef and tasting the fish just sends me to a place I do not like.
Sure looks better than being back here in Missouri..
Great pics! I just wouldn't know what to do with the crab... What do you do with that big orange shell?? :)
great shots today!..cliff driving?..how much fun was that!!!??
Gotta agree with Kimberly on the fish tacos...just can't go there!! We drove nothbound on Hwy. 1 last September. We were in a van and we were amazed at some of the big RVs making that drive. Beautiful scenery though and I'm glad you made it okay.
Awesome pictures, awesome driving. Congratulations on both.
Hi there, You are both in my old neck of the woods-we lived in Santa Rosa. I do miss the coast-we could get to Bodega in 40 minutes but I don't miss the crowds or cost of living.
Enjoy! You might investigate Mendocino or Ferndale-up north.
Hugs today, Noreen
Enjoyed everyone's comments. What no fish tacos for some of you??? Come over and I'll make you some that you will love!
Judy, that shell would make a lovely hat, change keeper, soap dish, or soup bowl!
Noreen, we're glad we were here during the "off" season when the crowds were low.
Bodega Bay...that is where they made the movie "The Birds"...we have been there...creepy...
Ok, gotta say, I LOVE the crazy fonts and fun stuff you did today :) And not because I'm biased! LOL! Isn't it more fun to blog when you can put a creative spin to the letters too?!?!
I guess I can safely assume you weren't the commenter that didn't like the centering and varied text :) HA!
