Holy crap Batman!! Yall are for-really doing this now! Hope you don't burp after eating your elephant, and throw some back up on accident :) kidding!! Ok, here's the advice....don't wait around for that feeling that you know what the heck you're doing. It won't come until you get matching canes and cataract surgery. Just pack what you think you may need, and then stop at all the super/stupid Walmarts along the way for the rest. It really is more fun that way & you won't feel like you are under so much pressure to have it ALL before heading out. Seriously, duct tape and a stinky slinky ought to cover you for now! Sending you a big hug & positive vibes :)

Have you decided on your internet connections?
If you are doing DirecTV you might want to do the paper work necessary so your channels will move as you do from area to area (Distant Network Service). I also like the shampoo/conditioner thingy you attach to the shower wall and it dispenses these items by pumping a button. That way my bottles don't fall all over the place when we move around.

Good luck and have fun!!

Hi there, Not having traveled in a motor home I really can't say what you'll need that you haven't thought of. I know our friends make sure they have some sort of satellite(direct tv.) so they have internet and t.v. I'd make sure you take a variety of music cd's though-some inspirational as well up upbeat. Hugs to you-know you'll have a wonderful adventure.

Congratulations! You'll do just fine! What you don't bring with you, will be available on the road. Good luck!

Wow, you two are sure having a life time adventure. You were only about 2 hours from me when you were in Napa and SF. I can't wait for the day when we can retire and just pick up when we want to and visit all the states in the USA. There is so much I have not seen yet..
Take lots of pictures and keep a hand written diary. You just never know when a computer will crash..
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth
