can we go now

Home Sweet Home not for the past eight weeks
hotel
Ok, San Francisco, I love ya. How we’ve enjoyed exploring your sights but now
I AM MORE THAN READY TO GO!
do you sense any anxiety~?~?~?~?~?
I found a bazillion things to keep me busy while Robert’s been working
everything from making quilts

to entering tons of blog giveaways…

i’ve won nothing :(
So, now that I know I’m actually leaving soon
the excitement is building…about what????? you ask?????
OUR NEW HOME!
IMG_7527
I’m about to bust a gut with anticipation!
In a few days we’ll pick up our new home and head to Kentucky for Christmas!
I know many of you can relate to the first time you put your stuff in the cabinets, hooked up the hoses and filled the frig to capacity. Jim and Dee (Tumbleweed) remember like it was yesterday although they just celebrated their one year anniversary since their adventure began.
So, let’s get this show on the road!
~~~~~~~
Since I have lots of TIME on my hands, I’ve also been making gifts for the hotel office staff again. Here’s an idea shared by Zuzu for candy containers which could be used in many different ways. The staff will be so surprised!
CandyContainersSecure decorative paper to paper towel tubes, tie ends with ribbon after filling with wrapped candies.
♪♫♪♪ It’s the M O S T wonderful time of the year! ♪♪♫♪
Welcome new followers!
Blessings Y’all!
Woot Woot!!! I DO remember the feeling of cramming stuff into my cabinets. Hopefully you guys will be doing it right! I had stuff coming out the yin-yang, and had to hammer some of the drawers and cabinets shut ;) LOL! STILL working my way through all the junk getting rid of stuff as we go :)
You two look so happy, by the way! You make a cute couple, you know!
Congratulations! You'll love it. Stuffing all that stuff in for now, but as you get to the first year, you'll know exactly what you'll use and not use. Thanks for the comment on TUMBLEWEED. We will be following you on your travels, hope we'll meet up before long.
Hi there, Glad you had fun in S.F. but like you I wouldn't want to stay there permanently(although we used to be just up the road). What an adventure you'll be having-I think it's wonderful! We have many friends who spend winters in their Homes on Wheels. Can't fathom it be forever though. Merry Christmas and travel mercies!
Going paleo is for cavemen! I tried, but couldn't keep it up. Now I just eat "whole foods" with an emphasis on as much raw as I can. It ain't easy! And no way can I stick to it when I'm in Austin with my pop!! How long has your son been doing it?
Kathy said...
Nellie, he started it over three years ago but doesn't follow it to the letter either. He also modified it. It almost impossible to do unless like you said, you're a caveman!
Stopped by again to say
